About me
Hello! My name is Josie and I am the MoA for All manager at the Museum of Art in downtown Fort Collins. MoA for All is the initiative in which we work with the community and non-profits to provide equitable access to arts and culture. Anything dealing with classes, programs, and many events also falls into my wheelhouse.
I am originally from Mississippi, but after spending a few summers as a wrangler in the mountains of Colorado, I knew I had to live here. Once I graduated with a degree in Biology and English Literature from Mississippi College, I spent a few years managing a local coffee shop. In 2017, I took the leap, packed my cat and my dog, and moved across the country. Since then, I have worked in various companies and positions, including restaurant management, appliance sales/management, insurance sales and finally settled in with the museum in a deeply fulfilling position. Being able to use my eclectic educational and work background to bring unique insight to both the art and nonprofit worlds has been incredibly rewarding in a way I never thought possible.
