Sosamma Samuel-Burnett is Founder/Pres of G.L.O.B.A.L. Justice, a nonprofit that serves as a resource on a range of justice issues by providing programs, projects, services, and events that inform, impact, & inspire local, national, & international individuals, organizations, sectors, & communities.
Sosamma has 30+ yrs experience as a human rights advocate & policy professional, 20+ yrs as a university professor, & 40+ years leading nonprofit organizations She holds a BSFS from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service & JD from the University of Minnesota Law School.
For 10 years, Sosamma was Founder/Chair, Public Policy Department & Public Policy Institute at William Jessup Univ. in CA. Previously, she directed many advocacy & policy organizations in CA, DC, & MN, & served as a Fellow at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.
Currently Sosamma serves as an Advisory member and Instructor for the Nonprofit Leadership Academy at Aims Community College. She also regularly serves as Adjunct Faculty member at Bushnell Univ, Colorado Christian Univ, and Trinity Law School. She previously served as a Fellow, Geopolitics/Global Justice, Centennial Institute at CCU.
Sosamma has served on many Boards and Advisory groups, including as Bd. Director & Chair for Agape Internat'l Missions, a leading anti-human trafficking organization, for 13 years. Locally, she also served on the TSD Gifted & Talented Advisory Comm, Strategic Planning Committee, and WCMS & TVHS Accountability Committees. She is also a frequent international commentator & speaker.
Sosamma was the 2023 BizWest Woman of Distinction (Nonprofit), 2022 Loveland Chamber Miki Roth Eagle Spirit award recipient, 2018 International Woman of Vision honoree from Colorado Women of Influence, 2017 & 2018 Nominee for the L'Oreal Woman of Worth, & 2019 Nominee for the Martin Luther King, Jr. award in CO. She has also received numerous other academic, business, & policy recognitions in CA, MN, & DC
