About me
Dr. Cori Wong (she/her) is a queer, biracial Asian American feminist philosopher and owner of Positive Philosophy Consulting. She’s a passionate speaker, writer, and community-centered educator. Values of liberation, love, creativity, and freedom inform the means and ends for her work. Support, truth-telling, humor, intimacy, and playfulness are among the essential ingredients.
Through Positive Philosophy Consulting, Dr. Wong supports individuals, groups, and organizations through their process of transformation when committing to values of equity and systemic culture change. By delivering original content and creating spaces that facilitate shared learning and reflective dialogues, clients develop understanding and skills around how to leverage their power, resources, and relationships for greater impact in their own community. Offerings include facilitation, keynotes, workshops, and content-based learning spaces, as well as supportive sessions for individuals and small groups.
Dr. Wong began practicing public philosophy in 2009 through her blog and YouTube channel. Her work has since been featured in two TEDx talks, numerous keynotes, journals, podcasts, and Oprah’s Spring 2021 Issue of O Magazine. In 2021, Dr. Wong left her leadership roles in higher education administration to deeply engage with her local community as a philosopher with the people. She continues experimenting with creative projects toward becoming a meta-philosophical performance artist.
