Winning with Clarity: How to Stop Confusing Your Customers and Start Building Trust SEATS AVAILABLE
Tuesday March 11, 2025 10:00am - 10:45am MDT
Brands of all kinds struggle to build trust and demonstrate authority to their customers, but in today’s crowded digital era, this is more important than ever. Effective communication about your products, services, or organization is what sets you apart from your competitors.

The human brain is drawn to CLARITY and away from confusion. Most organizations are confusing their customers, and they don’t even know it, causing them to lose sales, and donations, or be passed up by their competition. In this session, Ian will teach you how to tell your story using the StoryBrand framework, giving you the tools to clarify your message and get your customers, donors, event attendees, or audience to respond.
You will walk away with a plan to effectively communicate about your organization and be able to start applying what you have learned that day.

Creating stock for successful grant writing SEATS AVAILABLE
Tuesday March 11, 2025 10:00am - 10:45am MDT
competing for grant funding is highly competitive. You can set your organization up for success by developing quality stock. In this case, stock is a supply of writing and documents accumulated for future use. When seeking support from family foundations, corporations, and government grantors, nonprofit organizations can greatly increase their capacity to respond to funding opportunities by building up their stock.

Easy-to-use stock is boilerplate language for frequently-posed questions, a cover letter, a program budget and additional required attachments. For nonprofit organizations that are new to grant writing, the Colorado Common Grant Application (CCGA) is the optimal starting point. Ashley Kasprzak will refer to the CCGA and share what funders expect when evaluating requests for support. She will help you and your organization become better prepared to respond to grant opportunities.

How to Tell Your Brand's Story Like Netflix SEATS AVAILABLE
Tuesday March 11, 2025 10:00am - 12:00pm MDT
In this session, participants will learn how to repeatedly capture their audiences' attention through powerful Netflix-style video storytelling.

Brandon, a former television editor and producer for Netflix, History Channel, and FOX will teach the fundamentals of what makes engaging video content and how to translate that to your own brand.

During the session, Brandon will guide participants using their own smart phones through the process of capturing and creating engaging content that builds brands and grows client base.

Workshop / Session Breakdown:

I. How to Entertain an Audience (Even if you're not an extravert)
In a series of short and fun exercises, Brandon will demonstrate how easy it is for session participants to capture brand stories like storytellers working on the most captivating films and tv series.

For example, Brandon will break down the anatomy of the session participants' favorite films, so that they can see WHY they're entertaining. He will then translate these principles into easy to implement steps that participants can use to tell their own brand stories with little to no budget.

II. The Minimum Viable Equipment Needed
This part of the session will go over the bare minimum equipment needed to tell high quality stories, and what the most important things to focus on are. For example, Brandon will cover how to shoot cinematic content on a smart phone, what affordable, but good investments can be made for sound and light. And how to design equipment around your own storytelling style (and how to keep equipment from getting in the way of the story).

III. The Three Essential Videos Every Brand Needs
In this session Brandon will help participants cut through the noise and focus on the main fundamental videos that every brand needs to succeed.

IV. Make A Video
In the final part of the session, Brandon will have the audience pair off and film with each other, applying the information learned.
